Corrections Policy

Last updated: 26 April 2026

We will get things wrong. When we do, we want to fix it openly, quickly, and clearly.

How to Request a Correction

If you believe we have published an error of fact, please email corrections@nriglobe.com with:

  • The URL of the article in question.
  • The specific sentence or claim you believe is incorrect.
  • The corrected information, ideally with a citation we can verify.
  • Your name (we may follow up — it will not be published unless you wish).

Our Response Time

We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 24 hours and publish a verified correction within 48 hours where possible. If the request is more complex (requires additional reporting), we will tell you and keep you updated.

How Corrections Are Displayed

We treat different kinds of changes differently:

  • Correction: Used when an article had a factual error. The article is updated and a note is added at the foot of the article describing what was changed and when.
  • Clarification: Used when an article was not wrong but was potentially misleading. The article is updated and a clarification note is added.
  • Update:Used when developing news has moved since publication. We add an “Updated” timestamp at the top of the article.
  • Retraction:Reserved for articles where the central premise is wrong. The original article is replaced with an editor’s note explaining the retraction; we do not silently delete published work.

Typo Fixes

Minor copy edits (typos, broken links, formatting) are made silently and do not require a correction note.

Complaints About Editorial Standards

If your concern goes beyond a factual error — for example, if you believe an article violates our Editorial Policy — please email editor@nriglobe.comand mark the subject line “Editorial Complaint”. The editor will respond within five working days.
